LAHORE - Pakistan Worldwide Airways (PIA) CEO Bernd Hildenbrand has said that air travel has stored an incredible number of rupees during one season by renovating Floor Assistance Devices (GSE) and traveler transportation automobiles.
He indicated these comments while speaking with mature PIA control after examination visit of Slam Solutions and Meals Solutions sections. The PIA CEO said that during the last one season PIA has included 24 new GSE which consist of AC automobiles, luggage straps, ambu-lifters and hi-lifters, while four Floor Power Models are on their way. In addition, remodelling of old products are also being done using airline's natural sources.
Unfortunately, PIA's present ground products are mostly over 25-year-old and no financial commitment was done for several decades, he said. That is why, he said, it is very important that additional care should be given to present equipment so that it could provide the air travel well in the months and a long time.
The PIA CEO was very happy to remember that a lot of developments have been introduced about in the working of these sections. He said work is being done in the right route but there's still a long way to go. Hildenbrand requested the control to make sure enhanced performance in their specific divisions, particularly concentrating on servicing and washing of ground support equipment. He also frequented different places of servicing service. The PIA CEO particularly valued the actions taken in the Providing department during last one season regarding cleanliness of property and cleanliness of food.
