Snapchat Honors International Women’s Day With Frida Kahlo, Marie Curie and Rosa Parks Lenses



Snapchat customers who open the app to apply one of the company’s contact contacts will see a few acquainted encounters nowadays.

For Worldwide Women’s Day, Snapchat developed contact contacts presenting three of history’s most well known women: specialist Frida Kahlo, municipal privileges capitalist Rosa Recreational areas and researcher Jessica Curie. Similar to the app’s other contact contacts, customers can overlay design and cartoon decals on their pics and vids for 24 hours.

The Kahlo narrow features a plant top and her popular eye-brows and red lip stick. Curie’s narrow reveals cartoon vibrant test pipes that burst across the display. And the Parks-themed lens has a hat and an address percolate with one of her popular quotes: “You must never be afraid about what you are doing when it is right.”

According to a Click spokesperson, the company proved helpful with the Frida Kahlo Organization and the Rosa and Raymond Recreational areas Institution for Self Growth to make the contact contacts. Curie does not have an property.

“In the age of the selfie, Frida is regarded as being the first selfie artist; she informed a tale of love, lifestyle, durability and interest [through] her self-portraits,” said Beatriz Alvarado, head of international matters for the Frida Kahlo Organization, in a declaration. “Today people recognize themselves with Frida’s lifestyle and heritage, and to respect her heritage, the Frida Kahlo Organization together with Snapchat stocks a lens with her picture to catch encounters of all her supporters around the world.”

Snap is also protecting activities nowadays around Worldwide Women’s Day in a live tale, and it developed a developed geofilter for the event.
