Cosby lawyers seek to bar some alleged victims from sex assault trial

Cosby has continuously declined any wrongdoing. O'Neill has planned couple of times of proceedings on the suggested witnesses and other pre-trial issues.

In common, prosecutors are prohibited from presenting proof of a defendant's irrelevant prior bad functions for worry it could tendency the court. On unusual events, however, most judges will allow it if the proof reveals a clear and historical design of actions.

Prosecutors are also looking for authorization to use Cosby's sworn statement from a buildup during Con-stand's 2005 municipal court action, in which Cosby recognized offering females with drugs and then having consensual sex-related activities with them.

Cosby's lawyers have requested O'Neill to bar that buildup from the test, disagreeing that Cosby only decided to admit after the then-Montgomery Nation da confident him no legal expenses would be introduced.

In addition, his lawyers have installed yet another attempt to disregard the situation, this time based on the discussion that prosecutors patiently waited too long to bring the situation.


In court documents registered last week, his lawyers said Cosby is lawfully sightless and has storage problems, avoiding him from fully taking part in planning his own protection.

The test is set for July.
