Functions, so {the girl|the lady|your woman} tells Schmidt to take a similar approach, which prompts him {to start out|to get started on} writing a roast of his former peers.

Helloooo, Brooklyn Nine-Nine! With a new outlook, Jess is ready to take on the city, but she's {tossed|chucked|placed} for a loop when Jake stops her to use her car -- actually, it {is|is owned by} Schmidt's mom, and Jess is terrified that it will get scratched up -- {to visit|to look|to travel} after {a legal|an unlawful|a criminal arrest}. She's terrified with good reason because he {will|does indeed} crash it, so Jess has to go to Brooklyn's 99th precinct. {Which|That is|Gowns} where she meets Gina Linetti (Chelsea Peretti), who revels in giving Jess {a lot of|a huge amount of|a bunch of} paperwork, and {Calapt|Copt}. Although I told my mother her hair {appeared|seemed|viewed} good once and it didn't. {It merely requires|It really} looked {alright|ok|fine}. "

Nick and Winston busking. Nick and Winston decide {that they are|they are} going to be "men of means" on the trip, so they have {a costly|a pricey|a high priced} {lunch time|lunchtime|lunch break} where they leave {a huge|a major} tip. After giving cash to a musician, they have no money {remaining|still left|kept} for the subway, so the pair busk to pay their way. The problem is they {you do not have|have no|terribly lack} an act to perform, {nevertheless they|nonetheless they} realize that they can stall and people will give them money and leave to {capture|get} their train. That works {until|up to|involve that much} the trains are delayed, so the {set are|couple are|match are} forced {to do|to execute|to accomplish} -- with encouragement from {De|E|D}. They {choose to|opt to|plan to} {leap|bounce|hop} over piles of {garbage|rubbish|waste}, backed by "I {Consider|Believe that|Imagine} {I could|I will|I am able to} Fly, " and Nick completely wipes away -- but raises {EVEN MORE|ADDITIONAL|EXTRA} than enough to help make the trip {back again|again}.

Schmidt's roast of his childhood bullies. After speaking with Raymond, Jess {understands|knows} that you can't have any regrets about your past because that makes you who you are, so she tells Schmidt not to confront his bullies. He seems on board, but then {roll-outs|commences|releases} into his roast {anyhow|in any case|anyways}, and thanks his {previous|past|ex -} peers "for being the worst that humankind has to offer -- that includes Harvey Levin {every|each} cast member that's {have you been|have you ever been} on The Real World/Road Rules Challenge, " and tells them, "you're all ugly and I make money. " His old bully tells him how embarrassing that was, and that's when Cece {measures in|stages in}.

Cece's defense of Schmidt, post-roast. "If any of you have anything {otherwise|more|different} you'd like to {inform|notify} my husband, I will drag you outside and we will handle this L. A. style, {inch|inches|very well} Cece threatens. "I {takes|usually takes} to the corner of Fairfax and La Brea, " which, as Winston points out, are similar streets, but still. The move earns Cece some major points with Louise. "Even though your car {is unquestionably|is obviously} here, it's a beautiful night. Let's walk, " Jess tells Louise as they leave. Winston can tell that something's up, but he has {an improved} plan at {center|cardiovascular|cardiovascular system} anyway -- insert the white, stretch limo that he and Nick {leased|hired|booked} with their busking {money|cash}.
