Official: At least 6 murdered in Tenn. university bus crash

Hamilton Nation Region Lawyer Neal Pinkston told media sites that five individuals passed away at the field and one passed away at a medical facility. Melydia Clewell, speaker for the district attorney, verified the variety.

"Certainly speed is being examined very, very highly as a factor in this incident," Fletcher said.

He said there were no apparent road conditions that seemed to have led to the incident and that information still analyzing whether alcohol performed a part.

Fletcher described the incident as "every public protection professional's most severe headache."

The Nationwide Transport Safety Board tweeted Thursday night that a "Go Team" of researchers would set up to the incident field Wednesday early morning.

The Knoxville Cops Division did not look at the exact variety of deceased.

The bus car owner was being inquired and was participating with regulators, police said. The bus is managed by Durham School Services, according to representative Carina Respectable.

"This has been an excellent disaster for us," Kelly felix said. "We have experienced an excellent loss today ... one of the most severe times we've had in our university group."
