Stars tested on Aussie trivia and force-fed Vegemite

CELEBRITIES are used to being fawned over on red floor coverings … so we made the decision to tremble factors up a bit.
As some of the country’s greatest celebrities stepped the red rug at the G’Day USA Dark Tie Occasion at the Dolby Ball room in Los Angeles, we pushed them to a sport.
Answer an Australian-themed trivia query properly and they could proceed on their happy way. Get it incorrect and they had to down a spoonful of Vegemite.
Some of the celebrities, such as all-round awesome guy Jai Courtney and Jules Bishop, seemed truly pleased by the reality they got their concerns incorrect and broke spoonfuls of Vegemite with passion.
‘That is like nectar’ said Julie Bishop.
Others such as Joe Tennis and Crocodile Dundee celebrity David Hogan, well, they weren’t so eager.
Some of the other visitors who joined the case that honors well-known Australians for their participation to building up the US-Australia connection included: Qantas Ambassador-at-large David Travolta, Ben Mendelsohn, Baz Luhrmann, Daniel MacPherson, Henry Hemsworth, Teresa Palmer, Nicole Kidman and Keith City.

Costume developer and four-time Oscar champion, Catherine Martin, obtained the G’Day USA Life-time Accomplishment Prize which was shown to her by her Moulin Vermeil friend, Nicole Kidman.

Ben Mendelsohn, who recently starred in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, was also honoured on the night, receiving the G’Day USA Excellence in Film and Television Award.
